Hmmm... Search-o-nuclear warfare...

Push the button and your competition ceases to exist.

If it were actually that easy to torpedo your competitors, I wonder
how long it would take before the Google Index was completely devoid
of any results at all? ;-)

Seconds after someone published the script.

The trick's a bit better hidden in this version:

Seconds...? Damn!

I personally would have given it at least ten minutes, accounting for
the need to propagate it across the web, of course...

Guess I still have too much faith in humanity, even after all these
years.

I love the way it's disguised in the version you posted Phil.
Think I'll have some fun with that ;-)

Cheers

Sasch

Well, especially after hanging around here for a bit.  People wanderig
in saying: "Google picked on me, and I'm as white as the driven snow"
- then you find a 30-domain farm which each linking to the others to
create apparent IBLs.

As an aside, it looks like you can still hide text by specifying the
background colour and the text colour using different bases - one in
hex, one in decimal.

Yup, and it's always* the ones that b1tch the loudest who are the
biggest culprits.

That would actually make an awful lot of sense as it goes...

We could always run sweepstakes as to how long it takes to get clamped
down on ;-)

Is that the ultimate example of link baiting or what?!?!?

Knowing how to do something doesn't even compare to knowing what to
use something for.

My hat is off to JLH!

I think luck had more to do with it than anything that contrived, you
give me way too much credit.
