Hey! It actually works! Or, at least seems to.
If I have a new site with no inbound links, I submit the URL and
within a week or two, I find it indexed.
www.elemental-reduction.jp launched about a month and a half ago,
submitted the URL to Google, a few weeks later, indexed. Yahoo still
hadn't even noticed it and although Yahoo has its entrance page
indexed now, it's still not showing any inbound links.
As far as URL submission goes, Yahoo didn't even have the index page
indexed until about a week after I submitted the URL to Yahoo also.
Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. ;-)
beckysharpe - if you stick around long enough, you'll likely too get
put up on the auction block. Quick, leave before it's too late! :-()
As for generosity, I'd say I do it for more selfish reasons than
generosity. Others here though, definitely! The amount of time an
energy many of the other regulars put into some of their offerings of
help are worthy of entire pages in a blog or on a website where they'd
actually get "credit" for it. Some, like JLH, Dockarl and Sebastian
do both, which is even harder to fathom as to how they can do all that
although, I'm just glad they do!
