That first photo by the way was back from 1999 or 2000, when I was young and sporty - during the Swiss Alpine Marathon (65km with something like +/-2500 meters up the mountain) when we got surprised by a bout of rain, ice and snow (end of July); I was in my summer stuff and the only thing close to jackets that was left was ... what I put on there... Since then I've always planned for the worst weather when in the mountains, haha. They didn't let us continue on the mountain-pass because of the weather, grrr (ok, perhaps that was better :-)).
