Subject: 404 Errors - is someone trying to hack my site?
Hi,

Every few days I see another 20-30 new 404 errors in awstats - they
all look similar, like an automated program is looking for some
default dynamic files or folders. My site is a static site, the only
dynamic content on my site is my Wordpress blog.

Whomever or what ever it is, block the IP. No reason for someone to be
doing this.
Most likly someone trying to find a way in for a SQL Injection.

Make sure all your applications that use MySQL or whatever are up to
date too.

Do it now, don't wait.
