Subject: Virus when Googling
I have a table tennis website http://www.lanetabletennis.net/ that I
have bookmarked and could enter whenever I like with no problems.

Some friends have recently warned me that they get a virus alert
whenever they Google the site (Google "lane table tennis" for
example).  I try it and get the same virus alert!

In fact, It is more than an alert.  It is some official looking anti-
virus screen that demands that you download their program... RIGHT
NOW.  What's going on!  It would not let me x it out, so I had to do a
ctrl-alt-delete to end the task in order to rid my screen of their
demand.

How could someone attach themselves through Google to my website?

I have been a Google and gmail fan for some time now, but this problem
brought to my attention that Google has no real way to contact them
directly.

This is the closest I could find to make my problem known to them.

Hello

Firstly they are correct that this pop-up occurs

BUT it is nothing to do with Google.

It happens if you just try to open your domain name in a browser.

It looks like your site has been hacked and I would imagine it is
rogue code in your .htaccess files as there is nothing in your home
page code that would cause this issue. If you have no idea
about .htaccess files have a word with your host and tell them about
the problem.

Regards
JV
