Yep, they are.  Wonder when they were fixed.  I'm also not seeing x
new of x for posts I've already read.

Could it be that a cookie cleaning and/or a file cache clearing might
help?

Or, when you are seeing a problem, have you tried a different
browser?

Not that it is necessarily a browser issue but on "membership" sites I
have the most common suggestion for all problems regarding account
tracking is, clear cookies, clear cache, try a different browser and
compare results.

If it still screws up after all that, it might suggest Google Groups
is a bit borked, perish the thought!  :-()

:-)

I've done both ..... also logged out, closed the browser and then
logged in, force a reload.....same thing.  When the x new of x new is
showing posts read as new, it might only happen within Crawling
indexing and ranking or Google webmaster tools etc.  It's rare when it
happens to all 4 at the same time, usually 1 or 2.  I think if it were
a cookie/cache problem, it would happen to all 4.

Today I noticed when I click on "his" profile, all posts from today
are marked as "moments ago" which isn't correct but when I click on
anyone else's, the time since last post is correct.  I don't think
thats an error and only hope it means ....well, I won't go there just
yet but do have the champaign on ice.

It's just this group that's messed up. The topic stars work OK, as
usual,in other groups, just not in this one.

Hopefully that means they're doing some custom hackery on this group
to clean the place up a bit.

Highly unlikely, but we all live in hope...

I never use the topic stars as I prefer x new of x but I think that is
permanently broke here.
