This was certainly an interesting technical undertaking :)
Next time audio/text transcripts, plus the presentation pages, being
available would be good.
I didn't quite get a full answer about language geolocation answered -
a post on this would be very good (simply do x don't do y). Us
international webmasters really want a simple guide.

If anyone has a recording/transcript of this conference, i would be
willing to host it. I really need audio, as i missed the advice by the
google team on my website (i only got the last point). Anyone ?

Thanks a lot, I think this went really well. I'd like to see it happen
again in the future. I was hearing that some people were getting a
webcam feed of you guys, but a lot of people didn't see that... is
that something that can be fixed in the future?

It certainly was well worth the effort, to listen to. Some useful
information. Perhaps it would be a nice feature to add a chatroom for
the group, sometimes it would be easier to explain to people what the
problems in a chatroom, as opposed to the forum. It would allow you to
explain something bit by bit, with the person that requires the help
responding as you explain it.

I think it would be better to not have a chat/video window during the
next presentation, this way those of us with A.D.D can pay better
attention to what is being said. There were definitely two or more
different conversations going on in there, it would make more sense to
focus it down a bit yes?
I would also be nice to have a writeup of what was covered in the
presentation by all the good folks at Google, I would really like to
revisit what was said by Maile about images.
Time to make my images more understandable to search engines, does a
site lose search position when you mess around with too many "alt"
tags? ;-(

I couldn't get the web application to work. It didn't ask for a phone
number, and there was no number to call. All I got was a list of
participants and the rest of the screen was blank. Tried for 2 hours-
no luck.

Nice effort by all. It moves pretty fast so you have to be on your
toes to follow. Agreed that video would help concentrate on the
speaker better, I'm from the TV generation, my grandparents may have
been able to sit around the radio and follow, but I need visual
stimulation.

Very impressive. Good that many of the issues will be developed on in
Googler blogs. A possible suggestion is that future Chats are on
discrete topics - there are so many specific areas to focus on in
webmastering - and we all have our particular passions, perhaps a more
in-depth discussion on various specialisms?

Thanks for this is was stupendous, I am new to the group and this was
a great introduction, there was just so much information from the all
the powerhouse panelists, I'm a bit overwhelmed, it would be great to
have a video recording of the webex screen, like a screen cast, with
the Q/A and chats expanded on the side so that one could watch and
listen to the presentation initially and then go back and read the
chats and the Q/A more in depth, perhaps someone did do a screen cast
and could share?
This might be duplication as first attempt failed!
Very impressive - another time perhaps more focused on specialisms?
We all come at webmastering from different angles and one person's
passion is another's necessary tedium. Don't know whether I'd like
more control from the production team on mikes or not - the jumble of
voices was really rather endearing ;-) It did help having another
computer to check out the sites under discussion, though.

In depth would nice, i imagine if its a regular event then it would be
possible to cover events in depth. next months chat is on blah blah,
with about 90% of the chat covering that particular issue and the
other 10% on new Google features and new found problems etc. I
seriously hope this does become a regular feature, it would help G
stay at the top, as it will get plenty of feedback

Also, it would be great to have a list of who the panelists/
participants are going to be with profile links so if there are some
specialty questions we could direct them to the right person.

Thanks for the great interactions! Would it be possible for the Q and
A questions you asked to be emailed to your google account after? I
know I didn't copy and paste all of that info, and now I'm sorry...

It was great to be able to ask questions in real time.
Almost info-overload with the voice, visual, chat and QA going on all
at once, but that's a great thing and would encourage it to occur
again - and regularly!!

i has two questions answered and i learned a lot of things in the chat
and faq sessions, and the audio conference was spectacular .
Congratulations Google Team, i will be waiting for the next chat
sessions. :)
