I have 2 questions:
(1) FIRST QUESTION
I was loving the Google Webmaster tools where all my external links
and internal links were shown. Beautiful.
* Then I started mucking around and thought why don't I change my
preferred domain to the non-www. version.
* Did a 301 redirect in my .htaccess files.
* Did a check on backlinks and figured that it was better to have
kept the www- version after all. That 301 would not pass on PR.
* So changed the 301 redirect to show the www- version again.
* Uploaded a new sitemap just in case
* Changed back my preferred domain to www-
::::>>> But now, when I go to see external or internal links, it
shows a big fat zero. Also, it seems that the sitemap was checked
recently and homepage crawled as well, but there are still versions of
non-www of my domain name out there for certain pages.
(2) SECOND QUESTION
On another glorious day, I decided to do some housecleaning. My site
directory was a mess where I had all my image files and webpages in
the same directory. So I decided to move my images to an image
directory where they should have been in the first place.
My traffic has dropped because I get lots of traffic through my
images. Before Google had all my images displayed but now none in
Google images. What to do?
