For about 3 weeks we are trying to get Google Analytics goals/funnels
to work but still no results. We tried about everything, with
different setups, different positions of the analytics code, different
goals, different domain names and different accounts.

The set that should work (right?):

http://www.website1.com/ --> This is the 'main account' and it links
to the booking page:
https://booking.website2.com/ --> The bookings page where the goal
should be reached.

On http://www.website1.com we placed the code:

Website URL: http://www.website1.com/

Goal settings:
Goal URL: https://booking.website2.com/12345/booking/fifth.php?id=54321
Step 1: http://www.website1.com/linktowebsite2.html
Step 2: https://www.website2.com/12345/booking/first.php?id=54321
Step 3: https://www.website2.com/12345/booking/second.php?id=54321
Step 4: https://www.website2.com/12345/booking/third.php?id=54321
Step 5: https://www.website2.com/12345/booking/fourth.php?id=54321

The analytics code works, but things go wrong at the Goals and Funnel
Visualisation. The goals always shows 0 and if I look at the Funnels I
can see that all visitors enter and exit at Step 1 (website1.com). So
Step 2+ (website2.com) is never reached.

We tried many other setups, but the setup above should work according
to all help we found about Google Analytics. Is there something we are
missing? Or what's wrong with our set up?
