Subject: Using Optimizer on index page
New to Google Optimizer--

so if I understand this, I can take a "www.sitename.com/index.html,"
create and insert the tags, then create "www.sitename.com/index2.html"
and visitors will see a rotated index page. I want to try this on some
index pages but I'm dubious.

All help appreciated.

Hi Casey--

That's great that you're trying out Website Optimizer! It's a good
product, no need to be dubious.  :-)  The situation you've described
above is basically how A/B testing works. This Help Group deals more
with crawling/indexing and webmaster tools issues, however, so you'll
probably get better information about Website Optimizer by checking
out some of their documentation or their user forum:
