We've noticed that for several of our clients the External Links data
has not been updated for several weeks now, returning the same data
this month as it did for the previous month. We've also noticed that
the number of pages crawled per day graph has tailed off to nohting,
and yet webmaster tools claims that our site was last crawled 2 days
ago.
I've searched various forums and the only similar posting I can find
was the following:
This message describes similar symptoms, and further down, Jonathon
Simon from Google states:
"Thanks to all for reporting this issue. Our engineers are currently
working on getting the Query Stats in Webmaster Tools updated.
We expect to have the latest data available by the end of the week. "
Is this a similar problem? If so, when can we expect the external link
data to be updated?
I also have noticed that my external links have not been updated for a
while. The newest update is January 8, 2008. Prior to this it seemed
that they were updating all the time.I have only been tracking this
for a short while so I thought maybe Google only updates the links
sporadically???

I agree, around January 8, 2008, is the last recorded date for
external links for us too.
The unfortunate thing for us is that our internal tools generate
reports based on the raw external links data, and obviously there is
no change this month so our reporting tools are reporting no changes
this month!
If anyone from Google is reading this, can we get an ETA on when we
can expect this to be updated?
