Hi Susan

Just watched your video. Thanks for that.

I have one question to ask. You mentioned that the tool will only
affect results where the user has requested 'pages from' with their
query.

I'm not going to use google.fr in my example because I'd like to limit
the context to English pages.

Given that Google.co.uk gives a bias to UK sites when the user selects
'Search the web', is it true to say that the tool gives no additional
weight to pages that have been geotargeted at (in this instance) the
UK within web search results?

Sorry, didn't mean to shun you.  ;-)
Using the tool to target example.com to the UK may have some effect on
non-country-restricted searches, but it probably won't be the same as
having example.co.uk. Most sites will see results somewhere between
the two extremes (no effect, and total equivalence with ccTLDs).
