Subject: Add-on domain sitemap
Hello,
I'm trying to add my sitemap to Webmaster Tools for http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com,
which is an add-on domain on http://www.big-offers.com.
Google says it has errors, and then it gives me this:

etc., etc., etc., for all the pages.
I don't know what to do next. Can you help?

How on earth did you come up with such url's?  You never meet them
when navigatin the site http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/ -
whatever gave you the idea they exist?

The public_html is definitely not part of either website's folders.
public_html is the root folder in which the main domain is located,
the same as www  - it's not part of any url's.

The sitemap for the domain http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/ has to
have all its urls on that domain. Whether it's an add-on domain or not
is irrelevant.

These are the proepr url's:

http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/patio_furniture.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/fences_and_gates.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/bedroom_furniture.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/bakers_rack.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/pot_rack.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/site_map.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/Alphabetical_Site_Map.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/Candle_Sconces.html
http://www.what-we-have-wrought.com/wall_decor.html

That's what google came up with. I put the site map on what-we-have-
wrought, but google gave me all those error messages. I agree, it
should look like how you have it there, but google tells me there are
errors, and I don't know how to fix it. What should I do next???

Hi Roshana

This message is usually shown when you include URLs from a different
domain in your sitemap file. For more information about the allowed
URLs within a sitemap file, please check our help topic at
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35143

You can check this by opening your sitemap file from www.what-we-have-wrought.com
in a text editor. It should only contain URLs from that domain and not
from www.big-offers.com.

If you wish to use a sitemap file for both domains you should make
sure that they are in separate files. If the files are hosted on the
same server, just use different file names and submit them
accordingly.

John
