I did a resubmitted my sitemap to google on 10/5.  Usually takes 30
minutes for status.  I am still at pending 2 days later, any new
problems going on with google or is it me?

Hi everyone!

This is currently a known issue, the team here is working on resolving
it as quickly as possible. Generally speaking, it's normal for some
sites to take a while before the "pending" status disappears. At the
moment however, it looks like this is taking a bit longer than usual.

If the "pending" status for your site has been showing for a while
now, I wouldn't worry too much about it for now. It's not something on
your site, or anything that you need to resolve on your end.

Hi -

Same problem here.  I submitted a new sitemap on Oct. 6th and it is
still pending!

Can you please define what "a bit longer" means?

Usually it only takes hours not days.

Should I delete and reload the sitemap?

Sorry, I don't have more news at the moment, other than that I see
people are really busy here getting things back to normal :)

Nick, I would just leave the Sitemap as it is, it won't really help to
resubmit it at the moment.

I submit 2 sitemap type (.txt and .xml) on 6 Oct.

Today, my .txt sitemap has downloaded by google (0 URL indexed though
+_+) but .xml still pending.

We are also facing similar problem @ http://minekey.com/sitemap-index-new.xml
from 16th Oct, submitted couple times.
Please look into this, the recent submission is more than 30 hours
old.

Hi,

I'm facing the same issue as well with http://breathewithin.blogspot.com

There was a duplicate site which I removed, and then I submitted the
sitemap 24 hours ago and it is still pending...

Anyone can help?
