Personally, I've been recovering from a separated shoulder during a snowboarding accident. While I still type one-handed due to a shoulder "immobilizer" (it's like a super sling), I'm healing well, no longer in pain, and expect to be actively participating in our community once again.

Ouch!!! Separated shoulder, been there, done that, not in any hurry to do it again!!
In the ambulance ride to the ER, where I got a load of very nice valium, I swear the driver swerved to hit every bump he could find even to the extent of backing up and hitting again some of the "better" ones! :-()
In any event, it will be great to have you back, even if you do have to type one handed. :-)

I too have sufferred the same injury. One thing i learnt is make sure you get a good Physiotherapist. Mine was useless and i am still paying for it now with restricted left arm movement.
