The Google homepage no longer has an input box.

This site is so complex I can't tell where I should say that to????

Well, You can say it here as input or suggestions
are the focus of this group.

I would think Googlers that focus on this topic
would peruse the posts here to seek input.

I wish I posses your optimism as it relates to this matter. We along
with many other Google Webmaster Tools subscribers have recently
experienced sudden problems with “Verify a Site” “Not Verified” for a
number of different reasons that are not valid for weeks, with no
evidence that Google is aware that a problem exists with this
particular service.

I have same issue..
I was happily using google mail for our domain [i.e. IT WAS VERIFIED]
- then moved name serveres on the weekend. All updated MX records have
been active since saturday... - then monday i realise that email is no
longer active on Google!!!!! WTF

Now i simply wait and hope all is ok.. but this is not right. I read
somewhere that using the HTML page is near immediate to verify
[reverify in this case] ownership of the domain - SO WHY NOT tell
people that this method is much faster than cname verification.. I did
try to change to HTML verification - but alas.. this is not possible.

More info please google... this is hiding when we cannot get direct
access to support at the most basic.

BR Major,

You seem to be confusing the verification.

Verification for Google Apps has nothing to do
with verification of web sites with Google verification
for Google Webmaster Tools. They are two different
products with different verification methods.

AFAIK there is no issue with Google webmaster tools
site verification from a Google standpoint.

If you are having a problem verifying Google Apps
then maybe try their help group:
http://groups.google.com/group/apps-discuss

Hope that helps,
Abracadabra

Abracadabra, in response to "AFAIK there is no issue with Google
webmaster tools site verification from a Google standpoint.", I must
respectfully disagree. Take a look for yourself here
http://www.cubacollectibles.com/googlee87d21ac1df112c8.html , we are
not even able to verify via meta tage (checkout our home page too)
since late last week of April -as far as we can tell.

Abracadabra, if you are able find what "we" are doing wrong, we would
be most greatful, but I must warn you, no one else ini this forum has
been able to find anything at our end.

Best regards, Jerry
