Vanessa's just posted on the official blog pointing out that comments
have now been enabled. Kudos for that, but there's a problem...

You're only able to post comments if you have a Blogger account. OK, I
know it's free to set one up, but I have no wish to add to the
population of junk blogs just to be able to post a comment. Can this
be freed up a bit?

Also, the presentation of comments on the main post page is horrible -
can we have a blank line or two to space them out and format them
better?

Believe it or not, I just had to set up my own (corporate, not
personal) Blogger account, and I had the same misgivings you've
shared.  But -- it took less than 3 minutes, and I *didn't* have to
actually create a blog... just use your same Google Account e-mail
address to sign up for Blogger and voila.

And also, thanks for the feedback re: comments presentation.  I'll
share that with the team.
