My guess is you have the same problem I have, currently, no back-links from other sites to your site. Without back-links, about the only page from your site that will get indexed is the main entrance page.
Theoretically, if one has many back-links, other sites find a given site more "valuable". But what do you do when all the other sites related to your commercial product are competitors and would rather slit their throats than give you any help at all in the way of providing links to your site from their site?
It would seem that the only way to build site rank and position is by getting your commercial site mentioned in numerous blogs. Most blogs I have seen though are actually worthless for real content, other than linking and interlinking all over the place but since most blogs are like the saying I just coined, "Those that can't do, teach or know, blog!" it shouldn't be too hard to hype up a given blogger and get them all hot and bothered about whatever it is you are trying to sell.

I sure missed the boat on that one! I didn't even think to look because I didn't think anyone still did that anymore.
One thing you might try though, while in the process of rebuilding the entire site, add alt tags to all the images, especially ones that are replacements for text.
That's not guarenteed to do all that much in the near term but at this point your site could be considered "hostile" to a number of users and definitely invisible to bots of all sorts.

Wow... Fire their programmers? Hire someone who knows SEO?
Dude do you know anything about web development?
Did you go to that website and see the alternate text on those images? Hmm... what, do you think the search engines turn a blind eye to that text? Just where did you learn your so-called SEO skills anyway?
You sure have a big mouth for a person who uses web templates for his own site. Oh yea... those are templates! Lotsa creativity there, my man!
I see you flaming alot of people and shooting off your mouth, but the little I've looked into your stuff man, you're got a pretty week portfolio yourself. What, couldn't hack it as a web developer so you took up SEO? Kinda hard to find work when you don't develop the sites so you have to flame anybody who asks your advice?
I hope for your sake you don't flame the wrong guy who happens to be lawsuit happy... your firing and hiring advice sure seems to be without regard of who or what you're talking about. You may want to self-censor yourself, chippy.
Good luck in your short career in web development.

I was actually defending cass-hacks and there is nothing wrong with pointing out the obvious. No, he shouldn't fire the web developers but he should do as DarrenG says to increase his chances of doing well.
