clubs" (spelled correctly) we drop all the way to #5 (again, with no
pictures at all on my site)...

OK, I tried it and got the predictable suggestion of the correct
spelling, used that and got your iste in #5.
Then did the search directly with the correct spelling and got your
site again in #5.
Nothign weird.
BTW, you dont' need to have pictures for a regular Googel search - teh
search is on WORDS. So if those words apepar anywhere on a page of
yours, no matter in what order, then it qualifies for being returned
for that search. Or if there is anchor text in inbound links with
those words in it.

webado, do you think it's possible that google has set the term "strip
clubs" to only return clean results? meaning newspaper sites, tv
station sites, etc? just curious what you'd think, being all over
google like you are.

No. But you are forgeting there are search filters. Most people use a
moderate filter. Depending on what else there is on a page that also
mentions those 2 words if it gets nabbed in the filter that page won't
show up.

you think people typing in "strip clubs" have moderate filter set?
even if they do, let me reiterate, my site was #1 or #2 for "strip
clubs" 2 months ago.
I think you sort of proved my point though... if I simply type in
strip clubs, what do YOU think I am looking for? do YOU (webado)
think I am looking for clubs on the Sunset Strip? do you think I am
looking for clubs where we read comic strips?
I think google has re-classified "strip clubs" to return less than
adult type results, where a third word (list, ratings, rankings)
allows it to return more adult oriented results. You don't think that
google could do that?
