Subject: Was my adult site dropped because of a Google bug?
I am the webmaster of http://heavenlycelebrities.com/. This is a
celebrity site which has lots of free content and has adult content
guarded by AVS. The site has been online since 2001, was high in the
Google search results for many years, and survived many Google updates.

On June 27, 2006, my site dropped significantly in the Google search
results, causing me to lose 2/3 of my traffic to the site. I went
searching for answers at Google Webmaster Central, Matt Cutts' blog and
http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum30/. I discovered that Google had
done an update and there were many other webmasters who had been
dropped on the same day, yet no one knew why. I followed the advice
from Webmaster Central and emailed Google, but I only received
automated responses that didn't lead to solutions.

Over the next few months I discovered that many other webmasters with
sites similar to mine were being dropped in the results as well
(http://starfool.com/, http://www.terababes.com/,
http://www.fulllatin.com/). My site and the other webmaster sites are
legitimate sites with good Google Page Rankings.

This month, I experienced a surge in traffic on the 14th, more than
double the recent daily average number of visitors. I also noticed a
similar rise in traffic from my similar website http://ijustwanna.com/,
though this site is only 6 months old. The traffic didn't maintain, but
the boost in traffic had me searching for answers, thinking maybe
Google was making changes. I discovered this article
http://www.pbs.org/mediashift/2007/01/digging_deepergoogle_search_sn....
which talks about porn blogs which were dropped this month. One of
these blogs caught the attention of Matt Cutts and he was able to find
a Google bug associated with the blogs. The article mentions that it is
difficult for Google to distinguish between spam sites and legitimate
adult sites.

My questions are:

1) Is it possible that there is another Google bug affecting sites like
mine?
2) If so, how do I get Matt Cutts or anyone at Google to fix it? (Matt
Cutts won't look into specific site problems and his blog lead me
here.) Or, if you are from Google, can you fix it/look into it? What's
wrong?
3) Does anyone see something wrong with my site that I am unaware of,
that could be keeping me lower in the results? (My site has no spam,
hidden text, etc.)

Any help with my problem would be greatly appreciated.
