It seems like it could be one of two things, 1). there were/are server
issues that for some reason makes Google think it shouldn't or can't
index the sites or 2). there was something in common among all the
sites hosted, besides the source of hosting directly, that caused the
sites to fall out of Google's good graces. There are probably more
but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Would it be possible to get a couple of exemplary site URLs as well as
your hosting company's URL?
