Hi folks - just been visiting alexa and noticed one site rocketing in the rankings - seoquake.com They've released a firefox plugin that might well be of interest to you.
Looks like I will finally be uninstalling the SEO Firefox plugin.
It is a bit more cluttered, in the in-line SERPs display mode and the "SEOBar" is a bit of a pain but the amount and completeness of the data it provides is quite a bit beyond the SEO Plugin I was using before.

The thing I like about the 'seobar' is that you can double click the icon at the left, and it just rolls back - and stays back until you want to use it again.. uses much less real estate than a real toolbar.

I found the info on the search results really irritating, too much clutter - but when I removed the toolbar from the page because I kept on forgetting to minimise it before screenshots or printing, it disappeared from the search results too. Now I just right click when I want it as the amount of clutter at the top of my page - with a choice of 6 toolbars plus the tabs - was getting a bit silly.
ps You don't get a $ for a re-installation - sorry to spoil your day :-)

Only in the headline positon - replaces it with a link of their choosing.
>From what i can gather though, that part of the plugin also lets you
take a snapshot of search results, save them locally and then show whether sites have moved up or down during a future search at the touch of a button. It's prob not against the google tos because it's not automated querying, but I think if they are indeed hiding ad blocks, they'll be in real strife real quick.

Hehe.. well.. that's led me on a little fact finding mission - the naughty little guys are selling advertising space on Google's own results page - in fact, they are auctioning ad space on Google.
It's a shame they're gonna be pummelled from post to pillar, as this tool has got lots of features that I'd like to see in normal G searches.
I'm also a little bit wary that it gives stats for yahoo etc for every page you visit - I think that prob counts as automated queries and could well get your IP banned after a little while...
