I registered a domain, thraxeditorial.com, through Google. Now I can't find it. When I go to webmaster tools, it wants me to verify, but then it can't find the site (which, to be totally fair, I might not have created yet!).
I'm going around in circles, with Google telling me that it's sending me emails with my password to an email address that I can't access because I don't have the password, if that makes any sense at all.

This group normally handles crawling, indexing and ranking questions, but I think I can help.
It sounds like you're trying to access the control panel for your newly purchased domain. If you're trying to use Google Apps for this, you may want to try going to https://www.google.com/a/thraxeditorial.com/ and entering your Google login information. Once you've successfully logged in, click on the "Manage this Domain" link located in the upper right-hand corner.
You may also want to check out the Google Apps Group and the Help Center for more info:

I thought I had lost my mind (still a distinct possibility, but no longer attributable to this issue). It was turning into the Catch-22 of the Google Apps world: I kept looking for my username and password, and Google kept telling me to log in to get that info, which required the username and password.
Anyway, now I can stop wasting time, and, hopefully, start building my site.
