Subject: Meta Index, Next , Prev
Does providing proper "Index", "Next", and "Prev" meta tags distribute
page rank any differently than pages without them...

Specifically if I have a page which is branched from the index tag and
is a part of the next and previous series of pages and a backlink from
a high valued site links to it...

Would the page rank value distribute more evenly to the index page and
pages linked through the nav next and previous?

Just wondering... Any insights would be appreciated.

Page rank is distributed by links - nothing to do with meta tags.

No I understand that...

If lets say a page has ten links on it and one link pointing at it
from a high value website.

Would the outbound page rank distribution to those ten links be
treated differently if the Meta Index, Prev and Next tags were used...

The meta Index, Prev and Next tags contain href links...

The record's still stuck.  Talk about a one-trick pony ...

Yes, I experimentally built a structure using all of these tags,
including contents as well.  IMO that structure is more thoroughly
crawled and performs _slightly_ better than I would otherwise expect.
It's not a huge difference, and quite possibly not worth doing on any
kind of dynamic site unless you do it programmatically.
