Subject: GWT bug with "last access home page"?
In the GWT Overview it tells me that the Googlebot "last successfully
accessed your home page on Sep 10, 2008"

When I look in the Google cache for my site I find that it shows the
home page from Sept 15, 2008

Is there a bug in GWT that is not updating the last time the home page
was visited correctly?

Thanks

Are you referring to the site in your profile?
The home page URL of your site cached by Googlebot on 15 September
is without www but it could have been obtained after
Googlebot accessed your home page URL with www.
Maybe look at the Google Webmaster Tools stats
for both versions of your site name,
with www and without www.

Cristina.

Hi So Cal Subbuteo!

Sometimes it can take a bit of time for Webmaster Tools to update this
information. Checking the cached version of the URL (or checking your
server logs) may be more accurate if you need to find an exact date.

Hope it helps!
John
