me too! :-( Am back at a pre tab homepage I had ages ago with 20 or so sections.....
Lost the theme, the new tabs, loads of RSS feeds as well as some of the edits I'd made to some of them (1 entry rather than 3. Weather in different places etc etc.)
Was working fine a couple of hours ago. And I haven't made any changes....
Firefox 2.0.0.3 on XP SP2
Have tried clearing all cache; shift refresh; and even rebooting
Come on Google........
(Google must be having big issues - Couldn't even post to this thread!!! "An error was encountered while trying to post, please try again later.")

I have exactly the same problem. I was uninstalling a load of programs from my computer and deleted some google stuff when it happened. But I knew it couldn't have been a client side thing.
I emailed [email address] just to see if I'd get any reply (Unlikely) but I should think they do own it... Hope it gets sorted soon as I use my Personalized home for everything.
Oh well, this is probably the first time I've ever had any problems with Google so it's pretty amazing really.

Another "me too" reply. I've been set back to a version of my personalized homepage of a week ago. Then, I reconfigured everything again and a few hours later: Poof! Gone again!
