yep me too, four tabs full of useful bits and my to do list - now I don't know what to do! I'm on xp pro but doesn't look like an OS prob or a browser prob, looks like a google data prob. perhaps my horoscope, which now appears, will tell me everything will be ok in the future!

Add me to the list. My other identity has lost his personal page while this identity has kept his. But this identity did not make any recent changes. I wish there was a way to back up the settings, does anyone know?

Yes, I see the reputation of a particular company going down the drain. What to think about the trustworthiness of Gmail, after this. I much less willing to hand over important information to their apps now.

Dick Tits - You don't think you're slightly overacting do you??? You temporarily lose some content from a free-of-charge service and you start banging on about the trustworthiness of Google! Geez!
Although it is annoying that it's gone down, surely if you have important info you don't use a free beta service to hold it all.
Guys, please put this slight hitch into perspective.

Yikes! So sorry about this everyone... but thanks so much for coming here to report it. We're now in frantic-chase-down-this-bug mode here at the Googleplex, and I hope to have more info for you soon.
For now, we're not entirely sure of this, but it's possible that changing your homepage theme might cause the problem. SO, if you still have your homepage intact, please avoid changing your theme until further notice.
The big question I know you'll all want answered is whether you'll get your homepage back once we sort things out... and the really honest answer is that I hope so, but I just don't know yet.
Thanks for all your patience and helpful details. I will update this thread as soon as I can. - Jaime
p.s. no need to report this via the contact form that Fun n Frolic Ltd linked to -- we are definitely aware of the problem, and I'll post to this thread if there's more info I have or need from all of you.

Didn't change the theme: so this could be a problem but not the only one

This is an answer that I would like not to hear. People stored data on the personalized homepage trusting Google: it would be vary bad for your image if you lost all the data. Should we still trust gmail?
