Subject: Lost my personal homepage
Just a couple of minutes ago, I used my personalised homepage without
any problems. Now, poof! it's gone. Tried logging out and signing in
again, hopping to classic and personalized homepage, checked cookies
and - nothing. All my collected links, sticky notes, tabs, etc - gone.
All the other things seem to work.

Must say, I'm pretty sad and disappointed. Can the lost setting be
restored anyhow? On my current work computer, I'm using Windows NT, if
that helps diagnose the situation.

The exact same thing just happened to me! Hopefully it is just a
problem with Google?

Lost mine too. If this is not restored, I am switching to
netvibes.com; they have a module to backup your settings. I am not
spending time again to update my personalised search page.

it.

Lost mine too. I'm not sure about the old version but mine could also
be a months old version.

itself. Especially when applying a theme)

Same here. Seems not to be a client side issue: firefox on linux here.
Still works for a colleague of mine though (her account, her home
page). The only change I made today was the following: I've had the
"interesting items for you" (or something like that) gadget on my
personalized home for a while, and this morning it allowed me to "add
a .....(something or other) tab by clicking here". I did, and got the
extra tab. Then switched back to my normal tab. Didn't touch the page
for a couple hours then, occasionally reloading it though. After lunch
it was gone, replaced by a single tab containing three gadgets: gmail,
top stories, quotes of the day.

Somebody from Google care to chime in?

Erik, exactly the same with my page. It was the "Recommendations" tab.
I added it, and later removed it.

Mine has disappeared as well and replaced by items I used to have, but
it's not even an old version (everything is in a single tab). Please
please please, they must be able to fix this!

one of the other threads said that a google guide said a quick fix for
firefox was to press shift while reloading the page via the firefox
refresh button.
Seen in thread named '    My Personalised Google Screen is up the
creek  '

It didnt work for me, but others have said it worked for them.

Googlers, wake up and revert the data back or else....

No, seriously, the personalized homepage is the central hub of my
digital life, I need to get it back ASAP

Add me to the list...I never realized how dependant upon this I had
become...if they don't come back then i'm going to have to find
something else that will let me backup my settings.  It will take
HOURS to restore my tabs and feeds and gadgets and stuff....

sniff, sniff...

Mine gone too.... I'm now totally lost.  I can't even remember where
half of the gadgets came from!

I have noticed a new option when adding tabs to your homepage.  Do you
think this new option is the cause of the problem.  I.e.  They added
an update to the tabs feature and trashed everyones data in the
process?

Come on Google please make a statement about this.
