how much time can we expect to see the final release of 1.5?

We're wrapping up the second milestone over the next week or so. After that, there is another round of bugfixes (2-3 weeks), then a release candidate. The timing of the final ("general availability") version will be a function of how smoothly the RC goes. Fwiw, the release candidate itself should be quite usable -- the trunk has been pretty stable for a long while.
