Subversion commit notices have (hopefully) been enabled for this list now.

You may wish to warm up your mail filters.

Are issue update notification emails gonna go anywhere too?

They aren't now?  Hmm... as far as I know they should be.

If you "star" an issue, it should also cause you to get an email when the issue is updated.  Can you confirm that that is not happening?

Actually, in the wee hours before this release (I think) Fitz and Bruce thought the issue tracker updates coming in would be a bit too much, but we certainly have that option. I'm inclined to say we should see how this level of automated updates works before we add more.

For one, I think the weekly bug report email from you, Dan M., is a good level of detail, and about the right frequency. While fixing bugs is clearing important, I don't want us to lose sight of bigger features.

I'm also a member over at the Apache Jakarta Project and I'm used to
everything passing though a mailing list. It's how I keep a pulse on
what is happening. I'm just trying to do the same here. IANAGE (I am
not a Google Employee) but I'd setup another Issue/Commits GWT group so
people can opt-in to those if they are interested.

It's happening (or was in the past). I just didn't want to star every
issue to be able to see the activity is.
