installing google search box for sharepoint

I am unable to install the google search box for sharepoint on my web
front end sharepoint server. The message I get states that the
"sharepoint is not found on the host". My environment consists of 2
web front end servers and a database server. Any help will be
appreciated. thx

Phil,

Any luck with this? If you are under support with Google, you may
email them. I would be interested in knowning what check failed.

I'd be interested to hear of any response too, we had the same problem
and are just trying to work through the manual install now.

I face the same issue and I also had Windows 2008, 64Bit. I tried on at least 4 machine and face same issue on all of them.

The work around is to manually install it and I am able to do that.

You can download the manual install package from http://code.google.com/p/google-enterprise-connector-sharepoint/downloads/list (Google-SearchBox-1.1-beta.zip        Google Search Box for SharePoint 1.1 beta)

This is a zip file that contact everything that you need. It also has a html file "google-searchbox-manual-installation-steps.htm" with instruction to manually install it.
