Subject: Google Search Appliance hot backup
A customer has just bought the GSA backup. For me it is the first
installation of a backup machine, someone can explain me how to
install and configure it to be aligned with the main machine? Or can
you tell me where is a guide to installation?

Thanks,
Valentina

Hi Valentina,

Depends on the which version your customer have. You just to need to
exporting the configuration file on the main GSA and importing this file on
the backup GSA.

Cheers,

Arthur.

Valentina,
if the GSA version is 6.0 & above, you can configure the Multibox (6.2
calls it GSAn). This will ensure automatic mirroring.

hope this helps
