Crawl not finding documents

I work with a Google Mini and I have been having some issues lately. I
have a directory that is web enabled and there are a series of HTML
documents that will need to be searched. At first I would run the
crawl and it was not finding the new documents that were added to the
directory. The only solution I found was the restart the Mini. This

Hi,

By default, Google returns only pages that include all of your search
terms. You do not need to include "AND" between terms. The order of
search terms affects the search results.

Actually what my doubt is if I perform a search for keyword say
"Comedy movies", will the search consider these 2 words together or
retrieve results which match any one of the keyword i.e. either comedy
or movies?
so can this feature be done with the help of XSLT logic and some
AJAX??

Every time we do a search we point the front end of our application to
[link]. We do this behind the
scenes, so this url is never exposed. Everything displays under
[link].

Hi there
We went live with the google mini and we get the following error
message in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 when we perform a search:

"This page contains both secure and unsecure items.
Do you want to display the unsecure items"

It is ok now. The result page is display without the search box. I
think it is reset itself after a while. Problem solved. Case Closed.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I did go to another aprroach. This time I used the HTTP object to send
the requests to Google Mini and recieve back the results.
It is successfull. Problem solved.

However, there is a liitle thing that I do not understand.
The result page still display the search box after I set without it in

If the xmlhttp object is similar to the one used by JavaScript in AJAX, than
it's not possible to do a call to another server. It's a security feature
to prevent Cross-site scripting (XSS). Otherwise, I would check if your
webserver can actually reach your google mini. Failing that, I'd have to
defer to someone that actually know asp.

Thanks for your reply.
I did go to another approach. I use the Server XMLHTTP object to send
the request to Google Mini, then receive back the result page. From
there, I can do the integration in any page of my web site. However,
on my Development Server, I encounter the error:"msxml3.dll error

My apologies for not replying sooner - I thought no one was going to
reply to this.

Yes I my mini is connected to the router using yellow cable and I have
connected to the mini - I have ran through the set up wizard and these
errors are from this wizard....

I'm not an asp developer, so I can't tell you exactly how to do this.
However, I do the same thing with our mini. I retrieve the mini's XML
output with PHP. The script than applies a custom XSL stylesheet to the xml
and then outputs that to the webpage. Our XSL is set up to return only a
partial webpage as the output is echoed to a webpage that uses our template.

How i can send the request to Google Mini and then get the result post
into the web page template outside Google Mini (in my web site)? My
web site is asp.net 2.0.
