I have a problem using google maps v2.3.2
I download the apps from GMM site using wap browser on my phone, I
install the jar and try to launch it.
It launchs and try to load the license agreement.
I have on the screen the text "please wait - loading license
agreement" (it is written in french on my phone because i'm french),
and after few secondes (15 maybe), the application crashes and my
phone says the app had a fatal error and I must restart the app.
I tried many times to reinstall the app, to restart the app and the
phone and I didn't google maps working.
My phone is a sony ericsson k610i and I was a victim of the "too much
userd memory" SE phones error with the v2.3.1 of GMM. But with this
new version (2.3.2), I don't have this error but the app doesn't work
better - the error message is just different.
Now I am using the old 2.2.0 version - a bit old but working.
So anybody doesn't have this error ? Is somebody solved it ?
What should I do to get it working ?
Yep, I have the exact same problem with Google Maps v 2.3.2 on
SonyEricsson W610i. And with version 2.3.1 I got the too much memory
problem too.
It seems no-one has no idea of how to fix this issue, but if anyone
out there knows where I could get an older version (anything prior to
2.3.1) I'd appreciate the info.

Good, this confirms that I am not so crazy.
Did you see anywhere on the internet some people talking about this
problem ?
I tried to search for this issue a lot but I didn't find anything
about it.
So I decided to post the bug here.
Maybe a member of the Google Team can advice or explain we should
process to get GMM 2.3.2 working on our phones.
I am open to beta test a new version that should work.

I advice you to downgrade to the v2.2.0 which was working perfectly
with my phone. I am using this version because all upper versions
don't work.
Visit this url with your phone brower http://m.google.fr/gmm/gmm.jad?dc=3Dgorganic&hl=3Dfr&ver=v2.2.0 - with it, I could get the correct 2.2.0 working app.
I this version doesn't work with your phone, please let me now I'll
explain you how to get the correct url for obtaining a version of GMM
working properly.
An working older version is better than a buggy new one.
