Subject: What happened to Alberta Canada???
I don't know what happened over the last little while, but the maps
for Alberta in Canada are brutal now.  Entire TOWNS are in completely
wrong locations, off by DOZENS of kilometers.  In some cases these
towns are the only source of gas and services in some of the more
remote western and northern parts of the province, and this could be a
dangerous mistake...

Take for example Brule, Ab, and Nordegg, Ab.  Brule is misplaced by
several km, and is even on the complete WRONG side of the Athabasca
river, serviced by a road that does not exist, or at least is not
accessible by anything other than 4x4 or all terrain vehicle.  Nordegg
is now placed so far EAST of where the town actually is, I had trouble
finding it at first (it's dozens of km away from where it actually
is).

WTH??

this might be a result of the updates to the map data as described
here:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-current-issues/browse_thre...

in this thread you will also find a URL to submit your errors and
findings.

Hopefully they will take care of it soon!
Regards
