Google Maps is currently 100% useless in Washington DC; the map
location parser doesn't understand the quadrant system in DC (e.g.,
SE, SW, etc.), and is barfing when trying to figure out where you're
asking it to map. It's a change from about a month ago, and despite
me trying to tell them about it every way I can figure (this group,
private email, personal IMs to a Google employee who knows the Maps
team), I've gotten not one lick of a reply saying they're aware of it
or are interested in fixing it.
I posted about it in this group last week:
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-Troubleshooting/browse_thr...
We'll see if they ever get around to fixing it.
