Thanks! The ClientScript.RegisterStartupSc ript(//the javascript code)
places the call to the JavaScript below the html in the body and calls
it during the window.onload method. I actually already have my
javascript in another function and file. I was using the
RegisterStartupScript function to pass xml back to the client that

hello,
I'm Kuma and I want that you know city's name "Tezontapec" is wrong,
the correct form is "Tezontepec de Aldama" ("Tezontapec" lat=20.18644,
lon=-99.265503)
I appreciate if you can change the name.
by the way, the zoom view ("Tezontapec" lat=20.18644, lon=-99.265503)

when u say put it on my server what do you mean. I've sited it in my
directory (hard drive) but it doesnt seem to be finding it, is that
what you mean?

Hey man
I havnt personally done this, but it should do the trick.You can
reference the google maps API objects outside of the DOM.
1.create a JAVASCRIPT function that does two things,
A)Activates the InfoWindow as if it had been clicked.
B)Sets a 1 second timeout,then uses javascript to focus on the correct

I've attempted to download and XML file into a map that I have been
working on. I've taken advice from different sources but for some
reason the points still will not display. (Mike tutorial) has been
very helpful with this, I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.

The real answer is to declare your geoinformation as a a function
For Example
------------------------------ ---
Function mapthis(){
Map stuff here
------------------------------ ------
Then declare your function on the body load like this.
------------------------------ ------
onload="mapthis()"
------------------------------ ------

The standard way to declare another frame as target is by using the
target attribute of the hyperlink.

I very strongly suspect that this is not allowed. Try using Virtual
Earth, it has routing capability.

OK, I'm trying to decode the points returned by google when I query for
a route.
I've seen this python script that does it:

But I've been unable to find a javascript version, or simply port the
Python to Javascript (I'm not at all comfortable with Python)
Does anyone have a successfully implemented javascript version of this
