I wanted to let everyone know that you can now drag and drop
destinations in the left panel when getting directions to multiple
locations! It does look a little bit different than how it appeared
before.

Now, you can control everything in the box displaying all of your
locations at the top of the left panel. When you scroll over the green
circles, you'll notice that you can click and drag locations to
rearrange them.

Also, you may have already noticed that driving times between segments
of a multi-way trip are also being displayed again.

Thanks to all for your persistent feedback. I realize this took a bit
longer than we thought, but I hope it was worth the wait!

Cheers,
Maps Guide Brian

Glad to see this restored.

But another problem was created in the process.  We can no longer
remove destinations from a planned trip!

Clicking the corresponding X's in the left column no longer works.
Instead, we must right click the individual placemarks on the map, and
select "Remove destination" - except the right-click function is still
going haywire!

FWIW:
Clicking the corresponding X's in the left column STILL  seems to work
in certain cases:
I CAN REMOVE DESTINATIONS  from my German end - However using my
firefox 2.00.16 or IE7:
here a triple directions:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=Leipzig&daddr=Berlin+to:Hamburg...
and now just clicked the "x" right of the destination "B" (Berlin):
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=Leipzig&daddr=Hamburg&hl=de&geo...
Perhaps NWT can you specify the conditions when you was unable to
remove destinations?

Thanks for the feedback, folks.

I just tried it in IE7 and Firefox 3.0.1 and in both cases I was able
to click on the corresponding "x"s in the left panel to remove a
destination from the route.

Are you, or is anyone else, still seeing this error?

Thanks!

I see only one X in the left panel, regardless of the number of
destinations.  So, I don't know hwat you are talking about.

And yes - the problem still exists.

Allow me to correct this.

Now I see X's next to destinations, but ONLY if I have 3 or more.
(The X's are so faint, I thought they weren't active.  Maybe you can
change this?)

But, these X's do not exist with 2 or fewer destinations.  In this
case, yes - the problem still exists.  I cannot remove either one of
them without right-clicking them on the map and selecting "Remove this
destination".

And I found another new anomaly when obtaining directions.

(View the attachment)

After removing all but one destination through whatever means
possible, the final destination is re-labed as A.

But notice the left column.  B...? And where am I supposed to enter a location?

After I have ordered my route destinations in the left pane, how do I
copy or save a route map to My Maps in Google Maps?  This seems like
an obvious need, but I can't find any way to do it.
