Previously only available through Base, bulk uploads are now also supported through the Local Business Center. If you have more than 10 locations, just log in to your Local Business Center account and click on "Upload a Data File." You'll see instructions, screenshots, and information about how to upload a business feed, and how to edit it once you've uploaded it. You can also use this feature to do bulk removals of more than 10 listings.
Bulk uploads also don't require any form of verification. They will, however, take between four and six weeks to update into Google Maps.

Hi Jen I've just submitted a data feed to the maps.google.com LBC. Some of the locations have mailing addresses that are different than their actual physical locations of operations - particularly in the case of remote operations. I have submitted the lat/longs as custom attributes however it appears that LBC is geocoding the address rather than picking up my custom lat/long. Is there a way to have the LBC utilize my custom attributed lat/long? Thanks Tim

my friends asked me to help them with business fed uploads. It is ok to provide them with any such assistance in my name ? Frankly speaking 2 high school students showed interest in such assigment, as a part of their IT home project. Don't expect them to dig deeply into contract law. They can work locally. One problem is geocoding of business addresses or phone numbers, already gone with MyMaps. I would really appreciate your suggestions as they are not interested to go into problems to be sued for incorrect business listings with Google. My suggestion is to come with temporary listings first , than accept/ or update temporary listings before going them public. Frankly speaking the problem/s with business listing update is really serious or Google Maps entirely reliant businesses Any change in street numbering or naming standards, switching to another telecom company may generate a revenue loss or troubles to third parties coming under umbrella of the old business listing/s.
(and what Google says): " By clicking 'Upload,' you're authorizing Google to create or update these business listings for use in Google Maps or other Google services. You are also affirming that you have the right to create these listings and that you have read and agree to Google's terms of service. There is currently no charge for creating or displaying listings.
and
Note: Feeds must be smaller than 1 megabyte in size. "

I have a question. I have done all this to update my business information on goggle maps and in my Local business center is says that eveything is approved and that we have to wait 4 weeks for our information to appear in goggle maps. However it has been 6 weeks and I can see no updates have been made. Is there anything that I am missing. Or do we just need to wait longer? Thank you for the help
