Switching groups of markers on and off.

Perhaps being a bit ambitious, I've seen some good examples of
switching markers on and off from an external 'legend'.
I fancied filtering my icons to reduce the congestion on some of my
maps e.g. Bars on, Restaurants off, Cafes off etc..
Has anybody suceeded in getting / modding GMapez to do this? I know it

I've recently experienced this problem, no matter where I sourced the
co-ords from they never appeared on my map in the right place. First
time i ever had the problem.

Hi there!

I am currently working with Google Maps API and I needed to get some
coordinates from a MySQL database and show them on the map. But I
needed them to get snapped to the streets.

What I want is what we see in Google Maps, when we insert 2 or 3
waypoints and it shows the path, snapped to the street.

I have tried and failed to add the terrain type map to 2.4. I could

Neil,

Thank you for the suggestion. Because I couldn't come up with the
coding I was looking for, I've had to change my direction and coding
to have some features that I was looking for and being allowed to use
my offices hosting and creating a new map for my use, I've come up
with a mew map that has almost all the features I was trying to get,

Assuming i understand you right, you are after the co-ordinates for
your places on your map.
You can get them by pin pointing the place on a google map and then
clicking on the link at the top of the map and extracting the
resulting co ordinate from there....

OK, so I was born in October and Libra's can't make up their minds.

I have also noticed this. In the UK i use post code and then save the
marker to My Maps so i can manually move the marker to exactly where i
want.

This gets me long and lat for each point, although they look fine on
google when embedded on the page marker is not where i placed it.

I have had this problem also lots of the time.

When i have played with it it seems to snap to certain points on a
map, very strange.

Havent found a way to get around it though.

I got the terrain feature working no problem, though its no too
effective on close zooms.

Dude...you have to reference this javascript in the page header then code the html needed to display the points on the map. There is no easy button for this one! If there is, I would like to know. Am I missing something? I have been using this script for years and there has never been a variant to any of this.
