Clicking on Second Tab Title in Info-Window Shuts The Window!?

infowindow pops up and its tabbed so that you see one photo and then
when you click on the second tab you see the second photo. It worked a
few hours ago, but now when you click on the second tab the info-window
closes!? Some people on the Google Maps site said to check to see if
anything changed with the extension:

Anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Same thing happening here, with both the js file from bluweb.com and a
copy of 2.2 I have on my webserver (dated June 29) so it looks to me
like it's a change on Google's side.

Hate replying to myself but found this, which looks like a plausible
suspect

The info window is now an overlay.
Clicking on the info window causes a click event.
Warning If you're using
GEvent.addListener(map, "click", function(overlay, point)
{
if (overlay) {
you can no longer assume that the overlay is a GMarker.

Thanks for finding that. This is really annoying. I won't be able to
get a fix for this into GMapEZ tonight, but perhaps this weekend?
I wondered if this sort of thing might happen. Starting with the next
major release of GMapEZ a specific Google Maps version number will be
used, instead of always just taking Google's latest. That will help
prevent this sort of thing in the future, at the danger of sometimes
falling behind in bug fixes.
Oh, or perhaps better, allow users to name a Google API verion if they
want to. That would be better. I'll see what I can do. Sorry,
everyone!

I've got the same problem. Relieved (strangely) to discover its not
something I've done. Do you have an ideas how to solve this, or is it
something Chouser has to fix?

I've put up a new version, GMapEZ 2.2.1. This is NOT well tested, so
it's not the default. Therefore, you'll first need to change your
script tag to:

src="http://bluweb.com/chouser/gmapez/gmapez-2.2.1.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>
All this new version does is let you specify the Google API version
that you want. If indeed Google's 2.62 is the problem, try backing up
a version by adding this meta tag BEFORE your script tag:
<meta name="gmapversion" content="2.61" />
If anyone can confirm this working (or not), please reply right away.

I'd be careful about assuming that it will continue to work without
the gmapversion meta tag. It looks like Google is currently servinc
up 2.61a be default. If up bump that back up to 2.62 it MAY break
your map again. I would recommend using the gmapversion meta tag if
you're worried about your map breaking again in this way.
