  Marcelo has a good point. My Q has nothing directly to do with the &lt;br&gt; maps API. On the other hand, I&#39;m working on a project that combines &lt;br&gt; php, javascript and the maps API. I plan to recode the javascript &lt;br&gt; according to the standards Pamela produced. And as long as I&#39;m doing &lt;br&gt; that, I might as well recode the php also.
