Subject: IRC channel for Google Maps folks
Hi,

I was wondering if there was an IRC channel where some of you hang
out and discuss google maps API?

And since this is my first post here I thought I'd describe what I'm
working on. I love to drive on twisty roads and didn't find any good
online "twisty road directories" so I figured it would be fun to build
something using google maps. Basically the idea is that people can come
to the site and enter their favorite driving (or biking) routes by
either uploading GPS data or entering street intersections or through
point and click.

I am writing this in Python and storing the data in PostgreSQL then
querying it with the help of PostGIS.

Thanks,

 Lex
