If you don't see the problem, is there any possible scenario where
Google would deny imagery JUST TO ME, using both the API. and the
regular Google maps? I'm not getting any special error messages.
Thanks

I have seen an irrational ip specific sorry from google..
mine was very temporary... maybe an hour or two.. somebody thought it
had to
do with... clearing ones cache and reloading too much. Exactly the
kind of thing
a developer is likely to do eh.

Things are working again. The problem lasted about an hour. It would
be nice to know what was happening, for future reference.
Garthan: did you ever figure anything out? Did it happen again? In
my case I didn't clear the cache when it happened (although I cleared
it out a few hours earlier when I backed up my system).
Here's a (paranoid) idea: it first happened when I was looking at a
National Guard Base on Cape Cod which I had visited last weekend (with
permission) to identify a survey marker (I map survey markers) . Any
conspiracy theories?
Thanks

as i wrote in a post a bit earlier today:
it happens to me almost every day since about two weeks. no satellite
images. if you dig into the sorry tiles, you'll find a page where they
blame you for being a robot, spy or malware... it happens on different
machines and different connections, independant from my cache or
cookies, no proxies inbetween. no changes on my site since months. it
nerves.

great. i'm dealing with survey stations too, a bit at least, and yes,
it started about when i was visiting the fundamental TP for the 1st
order triangulation network in germany ;-)

1) what's a captcha?
2) what does this mean and what do I do? "If you visit a url for a
tile directly you will see what I mean. Just
fill out the captcha and you will be back on track again. "
Huh?
PAMELA: has the tile server been changed recently to cause these
blockages to happen?
I'm generating next to no traffic: 5 map generations in 10 minutes,
with only a few markers per map. This is getting worrisome. Today is
the first time I've seen it.
