Me too. Same issue. If i use some NAS and i can access albums on both
on Win and Linux would be really great. Raised issue lots of time but
i think picasa ppl don't care much. I think this is standard practise
now to have Pictures on common storage like NAS.

Try Picasa3 on wine. Might work don't know. I haven't tried.

You need to install the 32b-it sane backend package. It might be
called sane-backends-32bit or sane-32bit.

Which "Google 64" repository are you referring? Were you following the
instructions here?

Hi all,

appearently I cannot remove tags (the old ones!) from the web
interface. Anyone can please confirm this? You think that counts as a
bug?

Hello,

I am unable to install Picasa on my system: OpenSuse 11 AMD 64 bits.
The Google 64 repository only contains 'google-desktop-linux'. The
'picasa-2.7.3736-15.i386.rpm' gives me this error:

'erreur:

Dépendances requises:
libsane.so.1 est nécessaire pour picasa-2.7.3736-15.i386'

Hi Alan, You are correct to an extent. But i think for now (at least
till linux market share grows) Why don't you make picasa-for-linux a
first class citizen ? If you remember how much time it took for picasa
2.7 ported to linux. Hopefully thats not the case for Picasa 3. It not
about people want it 'really quick' Its about commitment of google

Very high demand I'd say. Mine sat on 24% for an hour or two, then
leapt through to 100% and I got into the face tagging. About an hour
or so later all of Google's face tagging seemed to fall apart and I
received endless "500 internal server errors" from the picasa
webservers, and now when I try and look at my albums online and access

clicking through from the help i got here ... somehow ...
the help for picasa isn't as good as other projects (as far as i can
tell)
