I tried installing picasa but there is a dependency I don't know how
to sort. The first was libgphoto which was already installed, but by
installing the 32-bit version that message has disappeared.

I still have:
Failed dependencies:
libsane.so.1 is needed by picasa-2.7.3736-15.i386

I tried searching but can't find how to acquire libsane and install it
on my computer? The libgphoto was on my installation dvd, does someone
know where I can find libsane (do I need 32bit or 64bit for picasa?)
and how to install it then in the terminal from a website?

Thanks

Paka

libsane.so.1 is contained in sane-backends-32bit package for 10.3, and
probably the same for 11.0. It is in the oss repo.
