Some users using my to-do list gadget (
http://screeperzone.com/2007/10/26/to-do-list-with-google-maps/ ) got
this message "Sorry, this module cannot be displayed, as it requires
inlining but is provided by an untrusted source" and it seems like
they lost all their data. They are very frustrated now. I haven't
seen this message before. I usually see the security warning initially
when the user adds a new inline gadget having two option "OK" or
"Delete".
I am aware that the inline gadgets are no more supported. But
somewhere in this group, Google promised to keep the existing inline
gadgets working. Am I missing something ?. Do I need to modify
something in my code ?.
PS: Sorry if this topic is explained elsewhere and I am reposting it.

Someone reported this issue last week, and I attempted to correct the
issue. Clearly it didn't succeed, so I'll see if there is something
else that I can do to get it working again. Existing inlined gadgets
are still supported, and will be supported until I let everyone know
otherwise. You shouldn't need to do anything in your code, there is
probably a back-end issue that needs to be addressed. I will keep you
updated.
Best,
Dan

I have a quick follow-up question. Can you confirm that this issue is
present on iGoogle, or is it only occurring on partnerpages within
Google Apps? As Bonstio points out, inlined gadgets are not supported
within Apps.
Thanks,
Dan

I am one of Mahin's users, who has contacted him about this problem.
In my case it relates to the start page of my domain which is now
hosted by google and using google apps. I believe I originally
described this issue to Mahin as being on my 'iGoogle' page, being
unaware of the distinction in terminology at the time of the report.
Mahin's To Do list had been workling beautifully since being installed
when I configured the domain on google, and was abruptly replaced with
the security warning message he reports early last week. This has been
the cause of some frustration, particularly as it is by far the best
of the apps currently available for this purpose.

Ruth Charles

I can understand the confusion between regular iGoogle and the Apps
version, there isn't that much of a distinction from a visual
standpoint. Unfortunately, though, inlined gadgets aren't supported
within the Apps partnerpages, and while they may have been working
there for a period, this was in error. My assumption was that the
error was discovered and fixed which lead to all these reports.
If there is anyone else having issues on iGoogle pages, I will keep
investigating, but otherwise, I think this issue is resolved.
Thanks,
Dan
