My widget xml:
http://www.superduper.org/test/ig7.xml

It doesn't work in iGoogle, it just says "Information is temporarily
unavailable."
So here's the thing:
It works in the google gadget editor http://www.google.com/apis/gadgets/gs.html#GGE.
So if I copy and paste the file it works, but if google puts the exact
same code off my webpage it doesn't???

I wish google would output a little more verbose error messages, at
least something like "wrong encoding" or "element missing"

best, hansi.

Hi Hansi,

I just tried the gadget you referred and it loads fine on my iGoogle
page.

The issue you are referring to might be related to what I reported
yesterday here:
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Gadgets-API/browse_thread/threa...
Earlier this week, I experienced as well some inconsistent and
incorrect Information is temporarily
unavailable.". Today, I kept an eye on this, and did not have any
issue.

Looks like this message just inform us that the Google systems you are
connected to can not serve you this gadget, most likely because it can
not fetch or does not have it in its cache. When you know this is
bogus, all you can do is refresh your page up to the point you get a
good response.

pip pip -- but when in the history of the Internet has a geek taken the time
to truly document his labour?; more so reveal their weaknesses; especially
by dumping verbose error messaging in-line; when all its supposed to do is
render right :)
