one of my gadget is in production and I incorporated some UI
changes. The gadget xml is hosted in our server. but the the changes
not reflecting in igoogle even after one hour. is there anyway to
force to expire the cache for the gadget xml

Same problem here. I've got two picture-of-the-day type gadgets,
hosted on different servers, updated daily (I checked). The updates
don't show on iGoogle pages.
Let's hope a Googler reads this ...

There is a temporary problem with the gadget cache. If your gadget
isn't displaying errors, I'd ask that you please be patient. If your
gadget is displaying an error (and thus necessitating a refresh of the
cache, please give me the URL).
