The problem is there is a 60 second timeout on the upload of the file
to Google. If this file is big and you don't have a 512k upload speed
it times out.

The timeout seems to be hardcoded into this file
extensions\browserst...@google.com\lib\browserstate.js
You can find this on your PC in something like

C:\Documents and Settings\MYUSERNAME\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\SOMEPATH.default\

Search for UPDATE_TIMEOUT=60000 and increase that 60000ms to 120000 or
more if you have a slow connection.

You can use WordPad to edit it the file or your HTML editor.
You may want to make a copy of the file as a backup before you edit it.
